In Their Own Story
At the beach, Arata recounts a dream to Lieselotte. Later, when he touches the grimoire Hermes Apocrypha, it illuminates and he partially transforms into the Demon Lord. The grimoire absorbs his magic, causing a young girl named Lilim to appear, who addresses Arata and Lilith as her parents. Arata suggests the name Lilim because she resembles Lilith. After recovering, Arata asks Levi to explain, and she reveals that Hermes absorbed his magic to transform into a human. Arata eventually faints because his magic has been assimilated into Lilim. Later, while in the hot baths, Arata expresses gratitude towards Lilim. He reveals he had another dream, and mentioning Last Trinity causes a Breakdown Phenomenon. The party transforms into Magus Modes to handle the situation. They find themselves in the Eternal Library, where Hijiri reveals the White Demon Lord's goal is to defeat Arata. After a battle, Last Trinity absorbs Arata's magic, but Arata retrieves it by invoking Luxuria magic through Hermes, transforming into a Paladin. He defeats Last Trinity with the help of the girls, assuring the homunculus he will become the Demon Lord so he can rest in peace.
